Woodhead Reservoir on Table Mountain was once the principal source of water for the city of Cape Town.  It is no longer that, but remains an integral feature of the ‘Back Table’. It was spring and the waters were high, inundating an area often dry, and leading to this leaf reflection of a protruding young tree.
